Below are the common ways to connect each of the three different Plantronics headset types. Read on to learn more.

call_control-powerHeadsets with Single Button for Call Control and Power

If your Bluetooth headset only has a single button that is used for both controlling calls and powering the headset on/off, use the following instruction to pair the device:

  1. Make sure headset is powered off,
  2. Press and hold button down for 5-6 seconds until the light begins to flash an alternating red/blue,
  3. Release the button and set the device aside,
  4. Following the pairing instructions on the parent device you are pairing the headset to,
  5. If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000. Not all devices will ask for the passkey.

 

on-off_switchHeadsets with Sliding On/Off Switch

If your Bluetooth headset has a sliding switch to turn the device on/off, use the following instructions to pair the device:

  1. Make sure headset is powered on,
  2. Press and hold button down for 5-6 seconds until the light begins to flash red and blue,
  3. Release the button and set the device aside,
  4. Following the pairing instructions on the parent device you are pairing the headset to,
  5. If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000. Not all devices will ask for the passkey.

If your headset has a dedicated button to turn the device on/off, use the following instructions:
